Product test: ProGlove Mark 2 scanner

Product test: ProGlove Mark 2 scanner

If you work in an environment where having both hands free is an advantage, the ProGlove Mark 2 scanner is an exciting option. Compared to similar products on the market, the scanner is very light and quite flat, so you can work more easily without the scanner getting bumped or jammed.

The ProGlove Mark 2 scanner weighs only 40 grams, so you hardly feel it and it is very ergonomic to work with.

The scanner sits as an integral part of a glove, and these gloves come in many different models and sizes. The gloves have different triggers to activate a scan. When a barcode is read, the scanner makes a sound and a small vibration, so you can feel that the barcode is registered.

The scanner can talk to your terminal, tablet or PC via Bluetooth, either directly or via a base station. With the base, you simply scan the barcode to pair the devices and you’re ready to use the scanner.

The battery lasts for 15 hours and the scanner is a mid-range that can capture both 1D and 2D barcodes up to 1.5 metres away.
